Who We Are

Our mission is to help homeless and low-income families achieve sustainable independence.

Making a difference in our community since 2011

Family Promise of Missoula is a non-profit organization working with diverse faith organizations and the YWCA of Missoula to help families with children experiencing homelessness.   With the opening of the Family Housing Center at the Meadowlark in Spring 2021, partner congregations and organizations will assist with providing the meal, provide volunteers to serve and cleanup after meals and provide an overnight volunteer to support the YWCA staff.  Each family is assisted by a case worker in finding and implementing lasting solutions to their unique situation.

Family Promise of Missoula is an affiliate of the National Family Promise Program based out of Summit, New Jersey.  FP of Missoula is over 80% successful in getting families into stable housing and effective employment!

Family Promise of Missoula does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, political affiliation, sexual orientation, or religion. Although we are a faith-based program, we believe in putting our faith into action, not words. Guests need not attend any religious activities to receive services. All volunteers are required to complete a free leadership training before any direct guest service.
